Homemade granola bars, good friends, family and basketball all in one weekend!

As you can tell from the title of this blog, it has been a very busy weekend for us Strom's. We have had quite the weekend. On Friday I attempted to make homemade granola bars, they were very scruptmous. If you do not believe me just ask Justin Glenn. I had made them one other time with my grandmother, but this time I was flying solo. I thought that it was a good time to try it out because Jordan played in the sunflower state games this past weekend. It was a ton of fun, they played four games and got two wins and two loses, I would say it was a rather successful day of ballin (that was my attempt at some baller like chit chat) ( hahhaha). I was also able to spend some time with my family, it was awesome. The craziest/ funniest accident happened while were out shopping at a strip mall. We were a few stores down when all of a sudden we heard loud screeching tires, dogs whimpering and soon the lovely aroma of burnt tires. I kid you not, this old, lady was parked right out in front of the hallmark store and when she was trying to back up, she hit the gas pedal instead and drove right through the glass of the hallmark store. It was out of control. I felt bad for the old gal, she was not injured but, it was really funny. I was able to sneak a picture which I will hopefully post soon! It was just a really funny freak accident. We also had a great time seeing good friends this weekend which included, the Kultz's both couples that is, Justin Glenn and we were even able to make a few new friends. It went by so fast, but we would not change one moment of the whole experience.

Today, we are just taking the time to relax because we have a rather busy week coming up. I have to work more this week because I am filling in for the secretaries in the office, pray for me. Jordan is a little sore form yesterday, but he has a full week ahead of him, so pray that the old man would heal quickly. Next weekend is the big weekend, weather permitting that we are going to paint our dinning room table as well as a lamp and a few other small projects that I thought were necessary of course. I am also so pumped to start doing a bible study with a few friends. I have been craving something like this to appear in my life, and whelp God is once again faithful. As you can see, married life is busy, wait that is just life!
