Greetings to all,
Today is our first day of official blogging. I am very excited and I cannot wait to see how this blogging experience turns out. I want to give everyone a little background as to why I am doing this for us newly weds. I am taking composition two this summer, I know I am a senior in college and I have yet to take it. I wanted to blog because I felt challenged in class by the way I write or should I say the way I do not write. I just have always disliked literature classes so, I have always done the bare minimum to get by. I want this to be a way that I can grow in my writing skills and a great way for family and friends to keep up with our busy lives.
Our first big experience in the apartment was yesterday morning around 9 am. I was being a good wife and cleaning our apartment before heading into work for the day when I discovered that there was a leak under our kitchen sink. It was rather interesting, we are very blessed because there was a bucket right where it was leaking so I did not have a huge mess to clean up, but as you can imagine it was not fun and a little smelly. I am hoping that someone will come today to fix the problem. I am just so thankful that I was able to find it in time! The Lord is so good and faithful.
I am very excited because the weekend is quickly approaching and Jordan and I have a few house projects that we would like to complete somewhat soon so that we can have everything ready. We are going to paint our dinning room table so that it looks better and well it just needs some TLC. We are also going to paint a few lamps and small things like that. I am so excited for our place to become complete. It is looking so fabulous and I am just so blessed to be able to call it home. My mom came down this past weekend and she was a huge help in assisting us on a few things that I was not sure about. We got throw pillows and curtains it really just made everything so complete. I am just so thankful for her and her artistic eye. She is simply wonderful. I hope to post a few pictures of the new place, so keep on the look out for some pictures.
